Welcome....to a very thought provoking, stimulating Book Group (yeah right). By popular demand, I have set up a blog that means we can have a 'virtual' book group experience. I will slowly sift through addresses to 'invite' people to join (100 people) can join. Please let me know if you would like to be invited. When there are around 10 people, a book will be posted up for reading (suggestions please), a date by which it needs to be read by and then comments can be posted on to the blog.
This will either work or not (funnily enough) so lets give it a whirl and lets have some men please as well!!

ReplyDeleteHow about 'The Elegance of The Hedgehog' by Muriel Barbery? Set in Paris it is about a concierge who is highly intelligent, but does not let on to the tenents in the block. It is a facinating book about how society poigeon holes people.
ReplyDeleteI heard E of the H being discussed on the radio the other day and it sounded good. I'd be up for reading that. Other one that sounds interesting & a fun read is Girls of Riyadh by Rajaa Alsanea published by Penguin c. £7.99. Sort of Jane Austin meets chick lit set in Saudi Arabia.
